Today I registered my kids for school, three weeks and counting. My friend asked me what I was going to do with myself now that all three kids would be in school.
Get myself organized and work on all my projects, that's what!!
We have already started on getting back into our school routine and I have to say I love it. Kids are in bed at 8 and getting lots of sleep, so then I have happy kids and a few hours to myself at night.
Early bedtime for the win!!
Hannah is heading into kindergarten so I will have a good 3 hours to myself every day to get stuff done, unless she ends up in all day kindergarten.
They had a screening today at registration to figure out who would be placed in all day kindergarten, when I asked what she was tested on she told me letters and colors. I asked if she got them all right and she informed me the letters were not in order so she didn't know what they were.
Little Stink!!
To bad her preschool teacher didn't screen her because she wouldn't have let her get away with that.
We will see in a couple of weeks, Rob just laughed and informed me she would love to be in school all day.
Why yes, yes she would.
I promised them on Friday we would go and pick out their backpacks, Hannah tells me every morning how many days until we go shopping.
I think it's safe to say she is really excited for school to start.
