Today was the Hannah's first day of preschool and she could not wait to get there. Normally Hannah sleeps on the floor of our room, we have tried but she won't sleep in her bed and this is the compromise so she doesn't sneak into my bed. It is usually almost 8:00 before she decides to finally wake up and get breakfast but not this morning, she was up before 7 and couldn't wait to get ready for the day.
Hunter and Samantha left for the bus and Hannah had her shoes and backpack on ready and waiting not so patiently to leave.
When it was finally time to leave we took pictures and then headed down to the school. We got there at 9:05 thinking we would be really early since school starts at 9:15, only school started at 9:00 and we were late.
I didn't get to take Hannah to find her hook or her seat but she didn't seem to mind or notice she was late. She said goodbye and walked right in.
Thankfully I was volunteering in Hunter's class and had a distraction so the tears did not fall.

She loved every minute of preschool and can't wait to go back on Tuesday. I had 20 minutes at home without kids after I was done with school and it was a little strange. I told Rob I actually had time to think, he is still deciding if this is a good thing or not.
