Last night we were driving in the car and Samantha was telling us all about Jedediah Smith and the movie they were watching in class. At one point Jedediah gets attacked by a bear who tears his ear off and Jedediah has it sewn back on. Which led to the following conversation:
Samantha: If my ear got torn off I wouldn't want it sewn back on because it would hurt too much.
Me: Not me, I would take a little pain now so I didn't loose my ear.
Rob: So you would let me sew your ear back on?
Me: Back then you just drank until you couldn't feel anything anymore, so it probably wouldn't be that bad.
Rob: So you would get sauced and then let me sew your ear back on?
Me: Sure, why not?
Rob: I would sew it on upside down, because that would be funny.
And this people is what true love looks like!!
PS. Hannah was so freaked out by our conversation she made Samantha sleep on the trundle bed in her room so no bears would come and rip off her ear.
