Testimony

On the first Sunday of the month we have Fast and Testimony meeting at church. We are asked to fast for two meals and then during our Sacrament meetings anyone in the congregation that wants to share their testimony is welcome to.
My Samantha never misses a Sunday bearing her testimony, and I love to hear it, makes me feel like maybe all that stuff I am teaching her is sinking in.
Hunter decided he also wanted to bear his testimony on Sunday, it was his first time. He looked a little nervous sitting up on the stand waiting his turn so Rob and I gave him thumbs up from our seats, Samantha said she would help him but I knew he would be just fine. He started by telling everyone he knew the Church was true and then he reached up, grabbed the top of the podium with both hands, and got really serious.
"Life isn't always fun, and sometimes you just have to find a way to deal with it. I don't have a brother, but I still have fun playing Mario Kart Wii with my sisters".
It was so sincere and heartfelt, and the greatest thing I have ever heard. I love that boy of mine.
Even if he will never let me live it down that he doesn't have a brother.
